Net Reduction in Greenhouse Gases

A Chinook Energy recycling and energy recovery plant will reduce greenhouse gases on a net basis through state of the art waste management. There are three basic components to our Carbon footprint analysis: (i) the CO2 that is saved by recycling the metal and glass in the discarded material stream; (ii) the CO2 that is saved by displacing the power generated by other sources with the power generated at the Chinook plant, and (iii) the relatively small amount of CO2 that is emitted by the plant.
